World Championship Sports Network (WCSN) will deliver live coverage of the 30th Annual LaSalle Bank Chicago Marathon on Sunday, October 7, 2007, at 8:30 a.m. EST.
Fans can log onto WCSN.com or watch on WCSN TV. More than 45,000 runners are set to race at the event, alongside the world’s elite competitors.
This year, runners will face tough competition on the 26.2-mile fast, flat and scenic course, with the potential to generate personal, national and world records. Among the men’s roster are former Chicago champions Evans Rutto (2003-2004) and Felix Limo (2005), as well as top finishers Ben Maiyo, Jaouad Gharib and Daniel Njenga Muturi.
The Chicago Marathon is one of the World Marathon Majors, a series of the top five marathons in the world: Berlin, Boston, London and New York. Each race will be available on WCSN.com and broadcast on WCSN TV.

Live Radio Broadcast of Chicago Marathon on “The Score” (WCRS, 670AM)

The 30th Anniversary LaSalle Bank Chicago Marathon will be broadcast live via Chicago sports radio station “The Score” (WCRS, 670AM) on October 7th, 2007 from 7:00 AM (CDT) to 11:00 AM. Executive Race Director Carey Pinkowski and co-host Andy Garcia will also be broadcasting some pre-race preview shows every Saturday morning at 7:00 AM (CDT) that include interviews with athletes, experts, coaches, nutritionists and other leaders in the industry.
