Khadevis RobinsonEpisode 62 of The Final Sprint Podcast features my interview with KHADEVIS ROBINSON; one of America’s most successful, consistent and passionate middle distance runners.

Last weekend in Indianapolis, “K.D.” continued his perennial dominance of National Championship events by holding off a late and valiant surge from Nick Symmonds (who had beaten him only a few, short weeks ago at the Prefontaine Classic) to earn his fourth 800m U.S. Outdoor title.

Podtrac PlayerIn the interview, K.D. talks about why he’s been so successful at the both the Outdoor and Indoor National Championships, how/why he believes Symmonds’ ran “a podtrac_survey_120x60_v2perfect race” at the Pre Classic, the notoriously difficult training regimen administered by Coach Johnny Gray (the 800m A.R. holder for the last 22 years) and what it’s like to be coached by a legend.

Download the podcast to hear K.D. discuss these topics, as well as, racing strategies, plans for the year, why he is intent on employing a new, more relaxed attitude towards August’s IAAF World Champs, the correlations between “running” and “life”, and much more!
