Jones Stripped of Medals
The IOC has officially wiped every trace of Marion Jones from their record books and has stripped her of the five Olympic medals (3 gold, 2 bronze) that she won unfairly at the 2000 Sydney, Australia Games while using steroids. Said IOC vice president Thomas Bach, “it was an easy decision. The facts were clear.”

Thailand Wins 45 Track & Field Medals at SEA Games
Thailand topped a list of nine nations that won medals in the Track & Field competition at the 24th Southeast Asian Games in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand by winning 45, including 17 gold, 19 silver and 9 bronze. Preliminary Results of Pistorius Tests Due Friday
Oscar Pistorius’ dream of being able to compete for a spot in the Olympics may come true on Friday. That’s when the preliminary results of the tests and analyses that the IAAF has been conducting to determine whether or not his prosthetic legs give him an “unfair advantage” will be released.
