Every week The Final Sprint’s team of music gurus posts a new, downloadable iMix on the site and in iTunes to help you stay motivated throughout all of your weekly runs and workouts.
However, in celebration of Monday’s Boston Marathon, Rick Jacobs has created “Journey to Boston…a Marathon” to keep you pumped up as you travel to and/or run through Boston! Below you will find the complete track listings and then a brief synopsis by Rick. To open iTunes and download the iMix, click here or on any of the songs or artists below.
Monday, 4/16/07 is the Boston Marathon. With that in mind The Final Sprint offers you a pumped up playlist called “Journey to Boston…a Marathon”. The training has been hard & you feel you’re ready but how about an extra boost?
The following playlist is all high energy & guaranteed to kick you into high gear. If you are like me & are not running the streets of Boston then use this playlist to energize any workout. In fact you could probably paint an entire room in twenty minutes listening to this music. The playlist starts off with the best of Journey & then Boston; ending w/ “Marathon” by Rush.
Enjoy the energy and stay tuned to The Final Sprint for live coverage of the Boston Marathon.
“It’s not how fast you can go..The force goes into the flow.”
- Rush, in the song “Marathon”
