USATF Foundation awards four Elite Athlete Development Grants

The USA Track & Field Foundation has presented Elite Athlete Development Grants to four athletes, USATF Foundation Executive Director Tom Jackovic announced Monday.
The USATF Foundation Elite Athlete Grant Program contributes to the pursuit of world-class performances by American post-collegiate track and field athletes. Athletes must meet minimum performance standards to be eligible.
Athletes receiving $3,000 grants include discus thrower Cecilia Barnes, long jumper Shameka Marshall, triple jumper Shani Marks and sprinter/long jumper Brianna Glenn.

First athletes selected for McMillan Elite running team

McMillanElite is proud to announce the first athletes for this new post-collegiate running team. Female athletes include Brianna Torres (US Olympic Trials Qualifier from the University of Colorado).
Male team members are Brett Gotcher (All-American from Stanford, US Junior 10K Champion and Junior Pan Am Games Gold Medalist at 10,000m), Mike Hanlon (Three-Time Patriot League Champion from Colgate University), Andrew Middleton (All-American from the University of Texas), Ben Rosario (US Olympic Marathon Trials Qualifier from Truman State University) and Mike Smith (All-American from Georgetown, Junior Pan Am Games Bronze Medalist at 5,000m).
