WHAT A MESS: The IAAF, Media Leaks and Anti-Doping Failures

The International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF) is in an incredible state of disarray. Between leaks to the media and a failure to properly deal with illegal doping, the IAAF has managed to go a long way in making a mockery out of the entire sport.
According to ESPN, Lamine Diack (the president of the IAAF) now wants to pursue efforts to stop leaks regarding athletes “A” samples. All i have to say is, IT’S ABOUT TIME!
This pursuit comes in the wake of the Marion Jones debacle, where a leak led to media coverage regarding the announcement that Jones’ “A” sample had tested positive for EPO, only to later announce that her “B” sample came up negative.

It seems as if each day brings another sports related drug scandal. It has almost become a rule that the athletes will of course deny the charges and tell the public to wait for their ‘B’ sample. Their ‘A’ sample is always an “anomaly” - a declaration that seems to carry as much credibility as Rafael Palmeiro.
However, just when you think that all sports are dirty - that athletes will do just about anything (legal or not) to gain an advantage - an athlete is ACTUALLY found to be clean. Regardless of her possible connections to BALCO and what the media is constantly saying about her - Marion Jones has always claimed that she never took performance enhancing drugs. Her assertions seemed to be as hypocritical as Justin Gatlin when she tested positive for the endurance-performance drug erythropoietin (EPO) on June 23rd. However, her ‘B’ sample was found to have no traces of the banned substance.
Which currently declared candidate would most improve USATF if elected as President of the Board of Directors?
