Northwest Airlines Becomes Eugene 08 Corporate Partner

The Eugene 08 Local Organizing Committee (LOC) announced Northwest Airlines as the newest corporate partner for Eugene 08. SportsOne Inc. secured this partnership on the LOC’s behalf as part of its role as the exclusive marketing agency for Eugene 08 and the 2008 U.S. Olympic Track & Field Trials.
“We welcome Northwest Airlines as our newest Eugene 08 partner,” said Greg Erwin, co-chair of the Local Organizing Committee. “Their support – and the support of all our partners – will enable us to provide an unrivaled experience for athletes and spectators.”
“Northwest Airlines is proud to support Eugene 08,” said Jim Cron, Vice President of Passenger Marketing. “We wish the participating athletes the best and look forward to a great competition.”

Eugene08.com, the official site for the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Track and Field is now live.
Eugene08.com is the primary source for key information for coaches, spectators, and volunteers, as well as plenty of photos and feature stories. Viewers can click on links to the competition schedule, qualifying standards, housing and transportation information as well as community links to discover more about Track Town, USA, and amenities of Eugene and the surrounding area.
A link to the Eugene 08 Festival offers information on the dynamic center adjacent to Hayward Field that will connect to the U.S. Olympic Trials competition inside the track and field venue.
