Track and Running on TV In these post-Olympic, post-track-season, pre-marathon-season days there is very little competitive action to be seen. As always, times listed are EDT. If you know of anything I’ve missed, put it in the comments section.

Dancing With the Stars
ABC, 8 p.m. Monday
Former Olympic sprint champion Maurice Greene will be among the contestants.

The Late Show with David Letterman
CBS, 11:35 p.m Wednesday
Letterman’s guests include double Olympic champion Usain Bolt.

The Daily Show with Jon Stewart
Comedy Central, 11:00 p.m. Thursday
Stewart will also interview Usain Bolt.

Live with Regis and Kelly
Various times and channels, Friday
Usain Bolt does the interview shtick once again.

Running
YES Network, 6 a.m. Sunday, 7:30 a.m. Thursday

From pop stars, to pro athletes (to you and I) … taking a dance class is a true power enhancer and morale booster. Exactly the little lift we all need for the cold-n-dark winter months ahead.

Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hot, Hula, Salsa, Swing, Square, Exotic, Ballroom, Ballet, Break, Belly … to name but a few. I’m most certain you can find a style that suits your profile, mood and/or schedule.
