My friend Wayne Coffey of the New York Daily News wrote a nice profile on coach Frank Gagliano of the Nike Oregon Track Club.

Originally from the Bronx, N.Y., “Gags” is retiring from the OTC at the end of this season and plans to move back to the New York City area. He has truly been one of the most dedicated coaches in the United States.

In the interview, which is embedded below, Coach “Gags” talks about the team’s preparations for this weekend’s two-day University of Washington Invitational, and the addition of Kevin Hicks and Bolota Asmerom to the team.
