Curtis named Athlete of the Week

Bobby Curtis has been named USA Track & Field’s Athlete of the Week after winning the 2007 Big East Cross Country Championships Saturday at the E.P. `Tom’ Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Ky.
A senior at Villanova University, Curtis won the men’s 8 km title in a course-record 23 minutes, 8.85 seconds to win the individual title for the second time. He also captured the 2004 crown with a time of 23:26 at Franklin Park in Boston, Mass.
