Olympians Alan and Shayne Culpepper will open a new running specialty store in Louisville, Colo., this weekend called Solepepper Sports. They plan to hold a grand opening on Saturday, kicking off with a group run/walk at 8:00 a.m. led by Shayne. There will also be appearances by Jorge Torres and Steve Jones, and merchandise giveaways and prizes throughout the day.
“I’m always excited to share my passion for running and fitness, and Solepepper Sports will also help me fulfill my passion for helping others,” said Alan, who competed in both the 2000 and 2004 Olympic Games. “We’ve lived in this area for 17 years, and while I’m providing people with the best sports equipment, I hope to also provide something that people can feel a part of, and that helps them achieve their personal goals.”
Solepepper Sports will carry all the top athletic brands of footwear and apparel, including adidas, asics, Brooks, DC, Mizuno, Nike, New Balance, Pearl Izumi, Puma, Saucony, and others, and footwear for adults and kids. The store is located at 459 S. McCaslin Blvd. in Louisville; telephone (303) 926-SOLE and web address http://www.solepepper.com.
“We’ve had so much support from the community over the years, I’m excited to have the opportunity to give something back,” Alan, 36, concluded.
