The Women’s 800m Trials at the 2008 USATF Indoor Championships saw many excellent performances by both familiar names and those looking to establish themselves nationally.
In the first heat former Mississippi State runner Tiffany McWilliams won in 2:04.91 with Miesha Marzell and Alisa Harvey also qualifying for finals. The second heat saw the two fastest times of the day from Nicole Cook (2:04.03) and Cornell Grad Morgan Uceny (2:04.19). The third heat was won by Nicole Teter and she was the sole qualifier from that heat.
Also notable was high schooler Chanelle Price of Easton, PA who placed 12th overall in 2:08.39.
