Wanjiru Wins Spanish Half-Marathon in 59:26,
Sets Sites on London, Beijing
Kenyan Samuel Wanjiru won the 21st Mitja Marató (half-marathon) de Granollers near Barcelona, Spain with a time of 59:26. proving that he is fit and ready for the Flora London Marathon this April. He also has his sites set on the Beijing Olympic Marathon this summer.

Zersenay Tadese and Pauline Korikwang Win 76th Cinque Mulini X-C
Zersenay Tadese of Eritrea won the men’s race of the prestigious Cinque Mulini cross-country meet Sunday in San Vittore Olona. Tadese won the 10km race with a time of 31:06. Pauline Korikwang of Kenya won the women’s 6km race in 19:54.

Tyson Gay Gunning for Three Gold Medals In Beijing
Double World Champion Tyson Gay is gunning for three gold medals in Beijing, saying, “I aim to come home with three gold medals in 100m, 200m and the 4×100 relay.” He also offered a “one hundred percent guarantee” that he’ll never cheat by doping, saying that, ”
everything you do in the dark comes to light and I think a lot of people in this sport have really seen that.”
