Masters Track’s New Online Hall of Fame & Museum

Ken Stone over at Masters Track Blog is involved in a fascinating new project. It’s provided as a service by the USATF Masters T&F Committee and it’s billed as an online Masters Track Museum. Here’s what they envision for the site:
Masters track and field has a rich history, and this site is dedicated to preserving it. Literally thousands of pages of material can be found here, including virtually all world and American championship meet results. They are collected all in one place for the first time as a tribute to the athletes, officials and masters leaders who made it possible.
The site is chockfull of results, rankings, archives, a Hall of Fame and galleries, all related to masters track & field in the United States. They’ve even got some PDF’s of David Pain’s USMITT newsletters from 1970 to 1979. Pain (in the photo) is the founder of masters track, so his insights are invaluable. Stone has dubbed Pain the “Columbus of Masters Track.”
