Univ. of Arkansas Stripped of Two Team National Titles
The university of Arkansas Track & Field team has been stripped of two national championships and is now on probation for 3 years stemming from an incident involving unethical conduct by a former assistant coach, Lance Brauman, who also coaches Tyson Gay.

High Jump WR Holder Javier Sotomayor Makes Headlines

Galen Rupp: Polls Don’t Mean Anything in X-C
Galen Rupp, keeping an aye on the national NCAA Div. I Football rankings in which the Oregon Ducks are ranked 5th explains that polls don’t mean anything in cross country. ASU Looks For Upset at Pac-10 Cross Country Championships
The Arizona State women’s cross country team, ranked 5th in the USTFCCCA polls, is looking to upset powerhouses Standford (ranked #1) and Oregon (#2). Says ASU coach Louie Quintana, “We’re excited to be running our full varsity team for the first time this year and we don’t have a lot of pressure on us like Stanford or Oregon does.” Read more at: [ASU Web Devil]
