Fl. State Surges to #3 in Women X-C Rankings

Florida State, led by a record-breaking victory by Susan Kuijken at the Pre-Nationals in Terre Haute, IN, surged from 11th to 3rd place in the USTFCCCA women’s Cross-Country rankings. Kuijken ran a course record of 19:55.5 over the 6k course to lead the Seminoles to a 2nd place team finish behind #1 ranked Stanford, who won the team title with 101 points to Fl. State’s 123 points. Stanford’s Teresa McWalters and Arianna Lambie finished 2nd and 3rd in the Blue race. Princeton jumped from 8th to 4th in the rankings with their 12st place team finish in the White race at the same meet.
