2007 Men's Olympic Trials Marathon U.S. Olympic Trials Marathon Just Got “Officially” Interesting
The leading contenders in the U.S. Olympic Trials Marathon on November 3rd, 2007 have officially entered the race. Dan Browne (unattached / Nike), Ryan Hall (unattached), Abdi Abdirahman (unattached / Nike), Meb Keflezighi (unattached / Nike) and Alan Culpepper (unattached / Nike) are among the entrants. Wariner: Sub 43 in 2007?

Bekele is Ready for Attempt at 10000m Record
Kenenisa Bekele, world record holder in the men’s 10000m at 26:17.53 is “hungry for more success” and ready to improve on his record at this Friday’s Memorial Van Damme meet in Brussels, Belgium. Bekele set the record at the same meet in 2005. “I am fit and ready to take up the challenge whatever pace is set on Friday,” said Bekele. Read more at: [IAAF Golden League]

Greece’s Virgin Forest Ultramarathon
The Virgin Forest Ultramarathon in northern Greece, the first of what race organizers hope to be an annual event is set to take place on October 13th and 14th.
