  1. An amazing run, a brilliant show of what can be accomplished with focus, drive and determination.

Running the Sahara was the first ever run to cross the Sahara, ran by a group of 3 runners.

If you found it fascinating you will most probabaly wish to follow the progress of the first ever Solo run across the Sahara.

British runner Kevin Carr is attempting
    this crazy feat, November 2009.

40 Marathons in 40 Days starting North of the Sahara, finishing southern sub sahara, a true crossing. The route is completely piste/road free, a incrediblely arduous route.

Running the Sahara is a great feet. No doubt about it, but have you heard of Serge Roetheli? He ran more than 25,000 miles around the world with 2,000 of those miles spent crossing the Sahara. He has a film coming out called “Beyond the Epic Run.” It’s really inspiring.
