adidas Track Classic: Edwards sets P.R. in 100m victory

Torri Edwards, in what many would call a bit of an upset, was able to win the 100m women’s race at today’s adidas track classic. Her time of 10:90 was very fast considering how early it is in the year and was also a new P.R. for young American.
Fellow sprinting stars Veronica Campbell, of Jamiaca, and Lisa Barber, of America, finished second and third, respectively.
