It is now 49 degrees and the women is blowing in at the women’s face.
At Mile 22 the split is 2:06:55 (5:40 for the last mile) as the pace is beginning to pick up. The women are also starting to go downhill, but the wind is cuasing serious problems for them as umbrellas are flying by in the distance.
The lead truck, who are going along with the Madai, Jelena and Lidiya in the lead can not even see Jeptoo or the other trailing runners at this point.
