After 2 hours of running, Moroccan training partners Gharib and Goumri are pulling ahead as Gharib in particular is pushing the pace.

Limo and Lel, last year’s winner and runner-up, follow close behind. Then comes Ramaala and World record holder Paul Tergat. Howeber, Tergat is now really struggling to keep up with the pace.

Ryan Hall is now completely set in the second pack - but he ran a fantastic and gutsy debut race. The young American has a lot to be proud of and has a very bright future in front of him.
