March is beginning to fly by; hopefully signaling the end of bitter cold temperatures and snow storms.
It also means that our mileage is on the rise, spring marathons are drawing near and proper nutrition is more important than ever. However, with time at a premium it can be a real challenge to properly fuel our bodies.
That’s why we’ve teamed up with VEGA to keep you going strong with “Real Food. Fast” . During this three week sweepstakes you’ll have a chance each week to win high quality nutritional products and other items from Vega.
This week we’ll be giving away: a box of VEGA’s berry flavored Whole Food Energy Bars, the VEGA deluxe water bottle and a copy of IRONMAN triathlete (and VEGA formulator) Brendan Brazier’s book: “Thrive: A guide to optimal health & performance through plant-based whole foods” .

THE RULES & MORE INFORMATION:
- This portion of the contest will close on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at 11:59pm, but we’ll begin phase two of the Vega Sweepstakes the following day and you’ll have another opportunity to win “Real Food. Fast”
- You may only enter this week’s portion (phase 1) of the sweepstakes once.
- You can submit an entry for each week’s phase of the sweepstakes, but once you win one, your done for the month.
- By entering this promotion, participant waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages, attorneys’ fees or any damages other than actual out-of-pocket costs incurred to enter.
- All entries also signify your intention to sign-up for Vega’s email newsletter (will be launched in a few months). However, you may opt-out of the newsletter now by simply including that intention in your entry comment. You will also have the opportunity to opt-out at any time by following the instructions in the newsletter once it begins. The Final Sprint, LLC and Sequel Naturals Ltd. (makers of VEGA) will not share your email address with any other companies or sources. The Final Sprint, LLC will also keep your names and the winners’ shipping address completely confidential. As always, we respect your privacy.
- Entries that are late, incomplete, misdirected, unintelligible or lost will not be accepted. All entries become the property of The Final Sprint, LLC and we have the right to use any and all submissions (including the contents of your entry comment) in any way, manner and in any media and in perpetuity without additional compensation or right of approval.
- The winner will be selected on a random drawing at or after 11:59pm on Tuesday, March 20, 2007. Winners will be notified by email within 72 hours of the drawing and must respond with their shipping address within 72 hours of the date of notification in order to claim their prize. Failure to comply with this condition or the return of prize notification as undeliverable, will result in forfeiture of prize, without compensation.
- Contest is open to everyone who follows the before-mentioned entry procedure and rules. Void where prohibited by law. The promotion is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. If you win and live outside of the United States or Canada, you will have to pay for the additional shipping costs. Winners from the U.S. and Canada will be shipped the product for free.
- Any difference between stated value and actual value will not be awarded. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash and prize substitutions will not be allowed, except at sole discretion of the Sponsor who reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded. Taxes, if any, on prize are the sole responsibility of winner. Limit one prize per household. Odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received.
- By accepting prize, winner releases and agrees to hold harmless Sponsor, its parent company, and each of their respective affiliates, directors, employees, officers and agents, including without limitation, their advertising/promotion agencies from any and all liability, injury, loss, or damage of any kind, including but not limited to personal injury or death, arising from or in connection with participation in the promotion, or the awarding, receipt, possession, use or misuse of any prize and/or with respect to participation in any prize related activity. Sponsors and its agencies are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, caused by web site users; any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications-line failure, theft, or destruction or unauthorized access of the web site; or downloading materials from or use of the web site. If, in the judges’ opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of tampering with any portion of the promotion, or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the game, the judges reserve the right to disqualify suspect entries and/or modify or terminate the game in a manner deemed reasonable by the judges, at the judges’ sole discretion.
