March 22nd, 2007 at 2:11 amNO CHALKY AFTERTASTE
March 22nd, 2007 at 7:54 amCHOCOLAT.
March 22nd, 2007 at 8:33 am20g.proteins.
150cal.
I look for a good tasting, filling meal replacment bar that will fill me up and not have me lookingfor other foods.
March 22nd, 2007 at 11:04 amTaste and ease of taking is vital. If it tastes bad or I have to mix it with exactly X temp water (other than cold), than what’s the point.
I’m tired and I need it to be easy.
March 22nd, 2007 at 2:46 pmAfter a hard workout such as a long run, I look for a meal replacement with a good mix and ration of carbs and protein. I find that if I have a meal replacement drink within 45 minutes after the workout, my body seems to recover quicker and I don’t feel as sluggish.
March 22nd, 2007 at 11:45 pmI like replacement shakes that are high in fiber because they keep me full longer
March 23rd, 2007 at 1:11 amvariety of flavors
March 23rd, 2007 at 3:05 amMax amount of protein my body can absorb at one time (about 35 grams), a solid a mount of complex carbs and minimal sugar.
March 23rd, 2007 at 3:27 amLOW iN saturated FAt
March 23rd, 2007 at 5:01 amEnough calories to keep my energy up! (something like 250-350 for 2 scoops if it is powder OR for a large ready-to-drink shake)
March 23rd, 2007 at 7:15 amVALUE! It really bothers me how expensive most of this stuff is …
March 23rd, 2007 at 7:43 amttttassstteeee —- that’s what it’s all about!
March 23rd, 2007 at 8:18 amI always try to find (and recommend that others find) meal replacements that:
1) Mix well in water and other liquids
2) Taste good enough that the person will actually use them regularly (otherwise they are such a waster)
3) Protein/ Complex Carb composition that is about even
March 23rd, 2007 at 8:21 amHas to taste good, otherwise who would drink it! Has to be low in calories & sugars & all the negative stuff nobody wants to put into their bodies. Has to have staying power! Who wants to be hungry an hour after they drink a meal replacement product? Has to be affordable, otherwise the average person won’t be able to buy it on a regualr basis.
March 23rd, 2007 at 8:42 amOne that is NOT grimy and does NOT leave the gross, pasty feeling that some shakes leave in your moUth.
March 23rd, 2007 at 8:55 amIts allllll about CONSISTENCY and TEXTURE when it comes to these liquid supplements
March 23rd, 2007 at 9:02 amIts got to taste good and mix up well!!
March 23rd, 2007 at 10:07 amI look for a nutritional supplement that is a nutritious food bar made with real food and not a bunch of processed or manufactured ingredients.
March 23rd, 2007 at 10:26 amI love good helath.
March 23rd, 2007 at 12:32 pmI look for nutritional replacement for high energy. I lead an active life and a meal replacement is needed often because I am on the run so much. But, it has to keeping me going.
March 23rd, 2007 at 3:17 pmIT HAS TO ENERGIZE AND TASTE GOOD!
March 23rd, 2007 at 5:02 pmTASTE is so important! A meal replacement shake should satisfy like a meal and not leave you with a gritty, chalky, gaggy aftertaste. All the vitamin and mineral benefits in the world won’t do much good if you drink part of it and think “Yuck!” and toss it out.
March 23rd, 2007 at 6:26 pmi look for the ones that have different flavors and that have everything you need in it instead of buying more than one item just to get everything that you need
March 23rd, 2007 at 7:11 pmMost meal replacement shakes leave a funny, chemical aftertaste. I look for organic and vegan ingredients, but they’re hard to find. Some shakes say that you can mix them with water, but are then somewhat tasteless. I tend to mix with soymilk and/or fruit. I like easy mixability - no lumps or power stirring.
March 23rd, 2007 at 7:29 pmwow
March 23rd, 2007 at 7:33 pmI look for ease of use and something that doesn’t taste like cardboard
March 23rd, 2007 at 8:11 pmI enjoy great-tasting meal replacements that are nutritious.
March 23rd, 2007 at 10:40 pmI like 150-200 calories in my meal replacements
March 24th, 2007 at 1:53 amlow fat
March 24th, 2007 at 10:01 amBig containers because I use them twice a day and don’t want to buy another one every few days
March 25th, 2007 at 10:02 amnot too filling - they often leave me bloated
March 25th, 2007 at 12:58 pmTasty, vegetarian, and not too protein-laden. Special ingredients such as maca and chlorella are definite pluses.
March 25th, 2007 at 3:18 pmGreat tasting with all the essential nutrients and calorie packed replacement. Also consisting of a good ratio of carb-protein-fat ratio.
March 25th, 2007 at 9:51 pmMeal has to be nutricious and taste great.
March 26th, 2007 at 1:44 amTaste … it needs to be yummy
March 26th, 2007 at 8:52 amlow sat. fat
March 26th, 2007 at 9:54 amall-natural
March 26th, 2007 at 9:55 amlow sugar. they need to use complex carbs instead of simple carbs (unlike a plethora of products offered in GNC, etc)
March 26th, 2007 at 9:56 ami like vanilla flavored shakes - other flavors usually taste chalky and def not edible
March 26th, 2007 at 10:00 amI lokk for something that helps me by giving me energy and help me fight with hungryness
March 26th, 2007 at 11:38 amI like a good assortment of flavors and textures. It’s all about mixing it up for me.
