OFFICIAL RULES:
- HOW TO ENTER. Visit the sweepstakes page between 7:00 A.M. EST on January 31, 2007 and 11:59pm EST on February 27, 2007 and follow directions to enter. Limit one entry per person per person/email address/household. Sponsors and their agencies will not accept entries that are late, incomplete, misdirected, unintelligible or lost. All entries become the property of the Sponsor.
- ELIGIBILITY. Open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, who are 18 years or older as of February 6, 2007. Void where prohibited by law. Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor and its parent company, PepsiCo, Inc., and each of their affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, advertising and promotional agencies and the immediate family members (spouse, children, parents, siblings) or household members (whether or not related) of each are not eligible. The promotion is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations.
- DRAWING. The winners will be selected in a random drawing on or about each of the following dates: February 6, 2007, February 13, 2007, February 20, 2007 and February 27, 2007 from all eligible entries received. Non-winning entries from previous drawing period will be rolled over to the next subsequent drawing. Drawings will be conducted by an independent judging organization whose decisions are final and binding in all respects. Winners will be notified by email within 72 hours of the drawing and must respond within fourteen (14) days of the date of notification in order to claim their prize. Failure to comply with this condition or the return of prize notification as undeliverable, will result in forfeiture of prize, without compensation.
- PRIZES/APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (ARV)/ODDS OF WINNING. Four (4) Grand Prizes (One for each drawing): Six 50.2 oz canisters of Gatorade Endurance Formula Powder (Makes approximately 174 servings). Note: this is not a prescription for your hydration needs. Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of Grand Prize: $140.32 each. Total ARV of all prizes: $561.28. All other costs and expenses associated with a prize and not specifically described are the sole responsibility of the winner. Any difference between stated value and actual value will not be awarded. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash and prize substitutions will not be allowed, except at sole discretion of the Sponsor who reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded. Taxes, if any, on prize are the sole responsibility of winner. Limit one prize per household. Odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received.
- GENERAL. Winners may be required to complete and sign an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release and, where legal, a Publicity Release within fourteen (14) business days of attempted notification and delivery of documents. Failure to comply with this condition or the return of prize documents as undeliverable, will result in forfeiture of prize, without compensation. Participation constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to use winners’ names and likenesses for purposes of advertising, promotion, and publicity purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. The Final Sprint, LLC and Sponsor have the right to use any and all submissions (including essays) in any way, manner and in any media and in perpetuity without additional compensation or right of approval. The Final Sprint, LLC will never sell your contact information. Entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules and by the decisions of judges, whose decisions are final in all matters relating to this promotion. Failure to comply with these rules may result in disqualification from this promotion. Sponsors reserve the right at their sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process. In the event of a dispute as to any entry, the name appearing on the online entry form will be deemed the entrant. By accepting prize, winner releases and agrees to hold harmless Sponsor, its parent company, and each of their respective affiliates, directors, employees, officers and agents, including without limitation, their advertising/promotion agencies from any and all liability, injury, loss, or damage of any kind, including but not limited to personal injury or death, arising from or in connection with participation in the promotion, or the awarding, receipt, possession, use or misuse of any prize and/or with respect to participation in any prize related activity. Sponsors and its agencies are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, caused by web site users; any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications-line failure, theft, or destruction or unauthorized access of the web site; or downloading materials from or use of the web site. If, in the judges’ opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of tampering with any portion of the promotion, or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the game, the judges reserve the right to disqualify suspect entries and/or modify or terminate the game in a manner deemed reasonable by the judges, at the judges’ sole discretion.
- WAIVER. By entering this promotion, participant waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages, attorneys’ fees or any damages other than actual out-of-pocket costs incurred to enter.
