After this week’s regional meets, Wisconsin managed to hold on to its lead in the Division 1 men’s cross country poll while FSU and BYU made major jumps to move into the top 10, with FSU moving seven spots to number 10 and BYU moving six spots to number 8.
The biggest excitement happened with the women’s teams as Stanford managed to hold on to its lead, despite a win by Arkansas in the South Central Regional which pushed them up four spots to number 2 with them remaining undefeated this season. Michigan also made a significant jump with eleven spots landing them at number 4.
On Tuesday the runners chosen to compete in the All Regions teams were announced. In order for athletes to be placed on these teams, they must finish in the top 25 of their region and meet NCAA Division I requirements. For a complete listing of the men’s team please: Men’s All-Region Team and/or the Women’s All-Region Team.
The NCAA Championships will be held Monday in Terre Haute, Indiana.
