Tried chocolate milk after my 21 mile training run on Saturday. My quads were killing right after the run. I drank the milk and rested for a couple of hours and am pain free. Last week I drank gatorade after an 18.5 mile run and was sore for two days. This is going to be my recovery drink for my next training run and I will have my husband waiting for me with a bottle of chocolate milk after the NYC marathon!
